WANTED: Bloggers, Linkbaiters & Feature Writers

I've got a number of writing gigs in my Blogging network opening up. I've got a couple of part time freelance positions open now and I'll be continuing to hire every month for at least the next 6 months as our network expands.

Our blogs are growing quickly. In total the network averages over 1 million page views a month (although I just broke a record and did nearly 500,000 in a day!).

I like to work with talented, open minded writers who research what they write, can follow instructions but also have the ability to think outside the box. Reliability and speed are key qualities.

Positions:

Daily Bloggers
Involves posting about a certain topic on a daily basis using the wordpress platform. This includes writing short reviews, discussions and news-bits.

Posts typically are in the region of 150-250 words and usually take between 15-40 minutes to complete (depending on the topic) and pays accordingly between $10-$20/hr depending on your experience and ability to write quickly.

You are generally free to pick your own topics to post (within the niche) but will have some general guidelines and formating to follow.

Viral Writers
This position is for the exceptionally talented only and is very challenging. Viral writers must be able to create articles/posts/features/videos/images that have the ability to attract attention from the mainstream media, social media, other bloggers and/or draw in tens of thousands of readers.

Skills required:
- Ability to come up with truly unique article ideas.
- Solid researching skills.
- Ability to craft truly magnetic and engaging headlines.
- Be familiar with the qualities of linkbait and viral content.
- Ability to think outside the box and be imaginative.
- Know how to structure an article to draw the reader in and get a response.

Social media promotion is not required in this role since I prefer a great writer to concentrate on what they do best - creating hot content. Of course if you are good with social media promotion it certainly won't go against you.

A track record is required and you must be able to provide real examples.

Payment is at a premium rate and typically you will be paid a flat guaranteed rate for the article, plus a substantial bonus depending on the article's success.

- Topics: The topics vary so just let me know what sort of topics you excel at. If you write about anything then tell me what topics you prefer or have a natural talent for.
- Preferred Role: Blogger, Viral Writer?
- Rates: Give me a rough idea of your rates. Remember a blogging gig pays different to a viral writer.
- Samples: Links to samples and demonstration of knowledge.
- Other Gigs: If you already write for another popular site/publication then let me know.
